About Us
Owner operated by Gerard and Sherri Merkle, Merkle Enterprises, LLC.
Gerard and I are both from Long Island, NY. We have been in the Tallahassee area since 1993. We have three grown children, Kelly, Stephanie and Matt; and two beautiful granddaughters, Brooke and Hailey. Though our future may hold a move to Wakulla County, for now, I happily make the hour-each-way commute to Crawfordville, each week day.
“Since the purchase of the property in March of 2007, we have added the retail sales of Moving and Storage Supplies; a Covered Boat/RV Storage shelter in our boatyard to better service the surrounding coastal communities; STOW AWAY MARINE & MORE, Inc., featuring the sales of new Andros Boats as well as used and consignments; and miscellaneous marine supplies; and now Golf Cart Sales and Accessories!."
At the STOW AWAY CENTER main office I also manage our construction company, NEW IMAGE CONTRACTORS, Inc. Founded in 1993 our involvement has been in both Residential and Commercial Construction and our services include:

In our free time, our favorite hobbies include grand parenting, boating, camping and motorcycle riding. Yes, I have my own Harley Davidson Dyna Super Glide and have been riding since 1999!
I have completely enjoyed being here in Crawfordville. I find the people to be pleasant and friendly. I just love it that people will stop by for no other reason than to just say hello and maybe bring me a bag of apples or a diet coke! This is a wonderful community and I thank all of our tenants for being here!
